- DAY 01. RISHIKESH/GHUTTU DRIVE 6-7 HRS OVERNIGHT: HOTEL / CAMP. Early morning after breakfast drive to Ghuttu. Ghuttu is a small village and the starting point of the Khatling glaciers trek. Evening explore the tiny village and overnight Camp.
- DAY 02. Ghuttu / REEH TREK 4-5 HRS OVERNIGHT : CAMP Today is a steep climb of 10 km till Reeh, the entire trail passes in beginning while through river Devling, later steep climbing through chir pine, rhododendron, and bamboo. We camp near by inside a forest. O/N - Camp.
- DAY 03. REEH / GANGI TREK 4-5 HRS OVERNIGHT : CAMP. Early morning after breakfast we commands our trek with very gradual steep
trek through crossing a series of meadows high above the valley. After crossing the top of the ridge, one will enjoy fine view of Panwali Kantha and the region of south of Ghuttu.
- DAY 04. GANGI / KHARSOLI TREK 5-6 HRS OVERNIGHT : CAMP Today the trail passes through descends to the valley floor and Deordi
(2450m), the last village in the valley. O/N - Camp.
- DAY 05. KHARSOLI / KHATLING CAVE TREK 4-5 HRS OVERNIGHT : CAMP. The trail follows the river before entering a forest of oak, spruce and silver birch.Near by there is a impressive waterfalls on the opposite side of the valley. We trek through dense forest and reach to a flat and beautiful meadow Tambakund,the trail winds through alpine meadow , juniper and silver birch to the Khatling Cave. O/N - Camp.
- DAY 06. KHATLING CAVE / KHATLING GLACIER / CHOBIA TREK 5-6 HRS OVERNIGHT : CAMP. Today is the most difficult treks till Khatling glacier, the trek commands descends steeply to the riverbank before ascending boulder and scree slopes beside the Bhilan Ganga. The Khatling glacier is associated with the giant hanging glaciers of Ratangian, Jogin and Phating. Explore the area and return back to KHATLING CAVE. O/ N - CAMP.
- DAY 07. KHATLING CAVE - MASARTAL TREK 4-5 HRS OVERNIGHT : CAMP Today the trail follow the ill-defined shepherds trail (steep in places) across boulder fields; be prepared for the occasional rock scramble. The view are magnificent across the upper sections of the Khatling Glacier and towards the high pass -the Auden Col (5400m) - leading to Gangotri. The Jogin peaks are in view, as is Jaonli (6630m).Further trek leads across high alpine pastures and scree slopes to the serene waters of Masar Tal (4590)m, which is waters frozen until at least mid-June. Explore the Lake and O/N -Camp.
- DAY 08. MASARTAL - VASUKI TAL - MAYALI PASS TREK 5-6 HRS OVERNIGHT : CAMP. Today we trek to Mayali Pass (5400m) via Vasuki tal. Vasukital A picturesque lake, 4,135 mts. Above seas level is encircled by lofty mountains and offers a commanding view of the Chaukhamba peaks. O/N - Camp.
- DAY 09. VASUKI TAL - KEDARNATH TREK 4-5 HRS OVERNIGHT : CAMP
Morning after breakfast our trek commands to Kedarnath. The trail passes
through huge
dense forest and beautiful meadow. After 4/5 hrs we reach to One of the
Hindu Holy pilgrimage center, Kedarnath.
The Kedarnath shrine is one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a
scenic spot situated,
against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. At an altitude of
3,581mt.
- DAY 10. KEDARNATH -Gaurikund -Chanderapuri/Ukhimth:
It's a 14 km descend trekking to Gaurikund from Kedarnath. Gaurikund a
temple dedicated to
Gauri and thermal springs of medicinal value are noteworthy. After this
drive for 2-3 hours to
Chanderapuri/Ukhimat. Overnight stay In Guest house..

Trekking for Nanda Devi Sanctuary: Towards Nanda Devi Sanctuary :
- Highest point :4245m.
- Duration : 11days.
- Best Season : May- Mid November.
- Area Covered :Delhi-Rishikesh-Joshimath-Lata-Betula-LataKharak-Dharansi-
Debrugaira-Satkula-Hitoli-Tolma Village-Suraithota-Joshimath-Rishikesh-Delhi.
The highest point of this trek Dharansi pass is more then 4000 meters(4250
meters).
Trek is very steep from the beginning so these trekkers required in good
physical and medical conditions and with good trekking equipments like
good sleeping bag, good warm clothes and good trekking shoes.
Please tell them trek is not open completely this trek is opened only
half way of Nanda devi base camp until to point Debrugeta,

- Day 1: Delhi- Rishikesh: Drive for 7-8 hrs either by train to Haridwar
and drive to Rishikesh for ne hour. After arrival in Rishikesh check in
Hotel and get to staff of Garhwal Himalayan Expedition local unit in Rishikesh
in Hotel or train station in Haridwar. Discuss for trek and evening sight
seeing in Rishikesh as visiting to evening ceremony.
- Day 2: Rishikesh- Joshimath: After breakfast drive for 8-10 hrs
to Joshimath(250km) the base for Trek to Nanda devi Base and many different
treks like Kuari pass, Valley of flowers and many more treks in this surroundings.
The most important significance of this town situated on the altitude
of 1870 meters, this is winter seat for Badrinath and In the beginning
of 9th century when Swami Shankaracharya was in the Himalayas for pilgrimage,
he has meditatin and got enlightenment to this particular place before
establishing to Badrinath as four pilgrimage centers in India to promote
Hinduism. On the way visiting to different holy confluences Devprayag,
Ruderprayag etc. Hot lunch enroute and overnight stay in Hotel in Joshimath.
Dinner will be provided by trekking staff.
- Day 3 : Joshimath- Lata Village( Base of trek): After breakfast
with packed lunch drive to forest department office to get permission
and after getting permission drive for 25 km( 2-3 hrs) with comfortably
and photography for exiting peak and lovely Goddess Mountain Nanda devi(7817
meters), the second highest Himalayan peak in India and highest in Garhwal
Himalayas. This village is situated on the bank Dhauli River and this
village is for Garhwal Himalayan tribes with very hospitable nature and
rich for tribal culture. Overnight in tents near to Lata Village(2000
metres).
- Day 4 : Lata Village-Betla(2800 mtrs): After breakfast with packed
lunch trekking steeply for 4-5 hrs to Belta, this place is situated in
the surrounding of high altitude pine. On the trek passing through to
Lata village and nice to talk and share with local people and it's very
nice to see the temple for Goddess Nanda at the village. Overnight stay
in tents near the stream.
- Day 5 : Betla- Lata Kharak(3689mtr): After breakfast with packed
lunch trekking steeply for 4-5 hrs to camping place which is situated
above to tree line and plateu. There is nice Himalayan panorama from this
place many Himalayan peaks can be see towards to Nanda Devi like Ronthi,
Nanda Gunti, Bethartoli, Dronagiri etc. Overnight in tents/ forest Department
log huts.
- Day 6 : Lata Kharak-Jhandi Dhar-Satkula-Dharansi Pass(4250 mtr):
After breakfast with packed lunch trekking for 6-7 hrs(14km) steeply to
Jhandidhar and further up to Bagfyana pass and from here the trail passes
through a narrow gorge of Satkula with steep ascents and descents and
finally one arrives at the meadow of Dharansi pass the place for overnight
camping near the water resource. From Jhandi dhar we can see the panorama
for beautiful peak Nanda Devi.
- Day 7 : Dharansi Pass-Dibrugheta(3500 mtr )-Dharansi pass: After
breakfast with packed lunch trekking for 6-7 hrs down to Debrugheta. Like
the inner sanctuary, the outer sanctuary is also divided by the prominent
Mrigthuni Bhethartoli ridge, between Dharansi pass and Debrugheta. Both
these ridges from magnificient cliffs terminating in to the Rishi gorge.
In the beginning the trail from Dharansi pass to Rani kholi and up to
Donidhar is a gradual descent and then from Donidhar to Dibrugheta is
steep descent of 750 mtr till one cross the improvised bridge over the
stream. Afternoon return trek to Dharansi pass and overnight in tents
for night stay.
- Day 8 : Dharansi pass-Satkula-Jhandidhar-Hitoli Campsite(3200 mtr
approx): After breakfast with packed lunch trekking for 5-6 hrs back to
Jhandi Dhar of about 7.5 KM and then further steep descent to 4.5 Km through
the rich forest of Rhododendron, Birch and Ragafur. Overnight in tents
for night stay.
- Day 9 : Hitoli-Tolma village-Suraithota(2161 mtr): After breakfast
with packed lunch trekking for 3-4 hours trek down to Tolma village for
tribal people through the rich forest of high altitude pine Thuner, blue
pine and deodar and after this village 3 Km down to road head Suraithota.
After arrive to road head drive for 30 kms to Joshimath. Overnight stay
in hotel.
- Day 10: Joshimath- Rishikesh: After break fast drive for 250 Km
to Rishikesh. Hot lunch enroute and services of meals are concluded after
arrival in Rishikesh.
- Day 11 : Rishikesh- Delhi: Transfer to Delhi by road either by
train.

Malla/Lata-Kedarnath Trek, 'A traditional trek'

- Area Covered : Delhi-Rishikesh-Uttarkashi-Malla/Lata-Belakh-Buadakedar-Bhairochatti-Ghuttu-Panwalikantha-Maggu-Triyuginarayan-Kedarnath-Guptkashi-Rishikesh-Delhi.
- Day 1 :Rishikesh-Triyuginrayan: Drive for 9-10 hours to reach starting
point of trekking. To this particular place there is temple of Vishnu. Overnight
stay at guest house for bsed accommodation/Camping.
- Day 2 : Triyuginarayan-Maggu chatti: after breakfast with packed
lunch trekking for 5-6 hours in the surrounding of high altitude pine, oak
and rhododendron. Overnight in tents.
- Day 3 : Magguchatti-Panwalikantha: after breakfast trekking for 6-7
hrs, steeply in the beginning and after arriving on the ridge with magnificent
view of Himalayas. Overnight stay in tents.
- Day 4 : Panwalikantha-Guttu: After breakfast trekking down for 6-7
hrs to Guttu, situated on the bank of Bhilangana river which is the base
of Khatling glacier.
Overnight stay in nice guest house of Uttaranchal tourism.
- Day 5 : Ghuttu-Baironchatti: after breakfast trekking for 6-7 hours
to Bhairon chatti but before this there is nice and wide view of Himalayan
range. Overnight stay in tents.
- Day 6 : Bhairon chatti-Budakedar: after breakfast trekking down for
6-7 hrs to the small village situated in the valley. Overnight in tents.
- Day 7 : Budakedar-Pangrana(2203 mtr): after breakfast trekking for
5-6 hrs passing through the dense forest at the small plain nearby local
people gujjarhut. Overnight in tents.
- Day8 : Pangrana-Belakhkhal-Chunn: After breakfast trekking for 5-6
hours in the beginning trekking steeply and after the view of some Himalayan
peaks trekking down to camping area in dense forest of Oak. Overnight in
tents.
- Day 9 : Chunn-Lata-Gangotri: After breakfast trekking for 2-3 hours
to road head at Lata and then drive for approximately 4 hours to Gsngotri.
Overnight in Guest house.
- Day 10 : Gangotri-Bhojwasa(3800): After breakfast with packed lunch
trekking for 6-7 hours gradually to Bhojwasa. This is base of Gaumukh glacier
and last habitation on the way to Holy resource of Ganges. On the way there
is chance to see some Himalayan fauna like Blue sheep in the Gangotri National
Park. Overnight in tents.
- Day 11 : Bhojwasa- Tapovan(4350): After breakfast with packed lunch
trekking for 4-5 hrs passing through the holy resource of Ganges and trail
passes through the Gangotri glacier and last part is steeper after crossing
the glacier and then we arrive to Tapovan meadow for breathtaking view of
Shivling(6543), Meru(6660) peak, and facing to Bhagirathi Group(6800,6500,6400).
Overnight stay in tents.
- Day 12 : Tapovan-Nandanvan(4450): After breakfast with packed lunch
trekking for 4-5 hrs crossing the Gangotri glacier and walking over the
this glacier over the slippery ice and boulders. After crossing the glacier
the trek is little steeper and upon arrival on the Nandanvan meadow the
breathtaking view of Kharchkund(6700), Kedardome(6840), Kedarnath(6940),
Bharatkantha(6200), Shivling(6543), Meru(6660) peak, and overhead to Bhagirathi
Group(6800,6500,6400). Overnight stay in tents.
- Day 13 : Nandanvan-Cheervasa(3600): After Breakfast with packed lunch
trekking for 6-7 hours passing through the glacier and crossing to crevasses
in glacier and passing through the moraines along the Gangotri glacier.
Overnight in tents at Cheervasa on the bank of Bhagirathi river, camping
place is surrounded by high altitude blue pine and Birch forest. Overnight
stay in tents.
- Day 14 : Cheervasa-Gangotri-Uttarkashi(1140): After breakfast with
packed lunch trekking for 4-5 hours to Gangotri and after arrival to at
road headGangotri and then drive for 4-5 hours to Uttarkashi. Overnight
in Hotel/Guest house.
- Day 15 : Uttarkashi-Rishikesh: After breakfast a small visit in the
surroundings in Utarkashi and then drive for 4-5 hours to Rishikesh.

Trekking for Highest Pass In Uttaranchal Himalayas(Kalindi Pass)

Tapovan-Nandanvan-Basukital-Kharapathar-Sweta Glacier-
Kalindi Base-Kalindi pass-Rajparao-Arwa Tal-Ghastoli-Badrinath-Rishiksh-Delhi.
This trek is for the more adventurous; and for those with some fundamental
knowledge of mountaineering. It is an extension of the Nandanvan Trek,
eastward to Ghastoli and then to Badrinath via Kalindikal pass (5967m).
The trek takes you from Nandanvan to Vasukital after due acclimatization.
From Vasukital to Mana, the trek falls in the 'inner line'.
The trek starts from Gangotri and takes you through Nandavan, the base
of the Bhagirathi peaks, a place that offers an unparalled view of the
Shivling peak. The trail moves on to Vasukital (4900 M). With towering
peaks all around the lake, its surface shimmers like a pearl and is the
source of the Vasuki Ganga that drains into the Mandakini. We proceed
to cross the Kalindikhal pass (5968 M), a tough climb from where you feel
that there is little else left to be see. It is as if you are a part of
this majestic setting of snow peaks. The trail then descends to Arwatal
and to Mana the last village on the Chinese frontier. The trek fittingly
ends at Badrinath with a visit to the holy temple.
ITINERARY (Kalindikhal Trek)

- Day 1 : (New Delhi, India):
On arrival you will be met by our representative and transfered to your
Hotel. Afternoon half day city tour of Old & New Delhi. Evening free.
Overnight in Hotel.
- Day 2 : (New Delhi -Rishikesh):
Early morning transfer to railway station to board superfast express train
to Haridwar and then transfer to Rishikesh by surface. Check in the hotel
and in the afternoon short visit for holy sights of Rishikesh and witness
to evening ceremony on the bank of holy Ganges. Dinner & overnight
in hotel.
- Day 3 : (Rishikesh to Uttarkashi):
Morning after leisurly breakfast, drive for 4-5 hours150 km to Uttarkashi.
On the way passing through the largest Hydro-electric project and artificial
lake at Tehri. This is nice to see beautiful landscapes on the way to
Uttarkashi. After arrive in Uttarkashi check in the hotel and in the afternoon
visiting to Institute of mountaineering and temple of SHIVA . Uttarkashi
is the place for getting permission for Kalaindi khal trek. Dinner &
Overnight in Hotel.
- Day4: Uttarkashi / Gangotri(3.048mts):
A drive of 5 hours on a very narrow mountain road to cover the short distance
of 100 km's. We follow the course of the Ganges, which is now a torrential
rive of rapids and waterfalls; the road winds up the valleys, past the
sulphur springs at Gangorani to climb very steeply up a series of hairpin
bends to the valley of Sukki. After Uttarkashi Bhagirathi valley is very
beautiful and scenic. Overnight stay in guest house.
- Day5: Gangotri:
A day of relaxation to explore the village and its surroundings. Gangotri
is an important place of pilgrimage for the Hindus as it is believed that
Lord Shiva descended to earth here and bathed in the waters at the base
of the Gangotri falls. Thousands of years before Ganges was appeared to
this place from Gangotri Glacier but now resource is 18 kms moved due
to global change. Evening it's nice to take a part in light ceremony at
the temple. Temple was constructed by Nepali general Amar Singh Thapa
in the beginning of 19th Century AD.Overnight in the tourist bungalow.
- Day6: Gangotri- Bhaojbasa(3792 m):
The road ends at Gangotri and our trek begins.The trek to Bhojwasa is
an gradual trekking for 6-7 hours. The wide trail initial passes through
a dense forest before emerging into a wide open valley. We then continue
on to a small isolated forest at Chirbasa(the abode of the pines).We camp
here for the night between the Bhagirathi mountain range peaks. This is
ideal place for doing Yoga and meditation. Bhojwasa is last habitation
on the way to holy glacial resource. Overnight in tents.
Trek time: 5 hours, 09 kms
- Day7: Bhojwasa-Tapoavan (4350 mts):
We continue along the grassy hillsides beside meadows studded with wild
flowers into the wide valley adjacent to mount Shivling (6.540mts).The
three peaks of the Bhagirathi mountain range now tower above us. We camp
on the wide sandy beach at Gaumukh on the banks of the Ganges a few hundred
meters from where the river flows out of the side of the Gangotri glacier.
This is nice experience for these people who are first time in the Himalayas
crossing the glacier and walking over the boulders. After crossing the
glacier there is steep climbing for 45 minutes to reach at Tapovan meadow.
Trek time: 5 hours, 09 kms.Very few people travel beyond the Gangotri
glacier to the wild and deserted mountains of the high Himalayas.
- Day8: DAY FOR EXCURSION AND ACCLIMITIZATION.
- Day 9 : (Nandanvan):
On day 6 of Kalindikhal Trek, after breakfast . Decend to Nandanvan (4337
M). Traverse along the Gangotri & Chaturangi glaciers. This trek combines
the experience of mountain & rock climbing besides boulder hopping
and glacier traversing. Break for a quick brunch at the junction of the
two glaciers. Overnight in tents.
- Day 10 : Basukital(4900 mtr):
After breakfast, trekking for 4-5 hours walking over ridge and along to
Chaturangi glacier and cross to Bhagirathi glacier Dinner and overnight
in camp.
- Day11: Kharapathar(5100 m):
After breakfast trekking for 4-5 hours along to Chaturangi glacier and
crossing on the way Satopanth glacier and nice to see Satopanth peak(7075
m). Overnight in tents.
- Day 12 : Sweta Glacier(5300 m):
Morning after breakfast, start 10 kms trek to Sweta Glacier with packed
lunch. It will take about 5 hrs. Dinner and overnight in camp. Camping
on glacier.
- Day13: Kalindi Base:
After breakfast trekking for 5-6 hours to kalindi base (5650 m), from
this camping sight you can see Kalindi khal from very close and the advantage
of making camping here in the morning it's easy to cross steeper pass.
Overnight in tents.
- Day 14 : Raj parav:
Morning after breakfast cross Kalindi pass (5960 mts), then trek down
to Rajparav (4910 mts) 12 kms. It will take about 4 hrs. Dinner and overnight
in camp.
Day 15 : Arwatal:
On day 10 of Kalindikhal Trek, Morning after breakfast, start 13 kms trek
to Arwatal (3910 mts) with packed lunch. It will take about 6 hrs. Dinner
and overnight in camp.
- Day 16 : Ghastoli:
Morning after breakfast start 16 kms trek to Ghastoli (3796 mts) with
packed lunch. It will take about 7 hrs. Dinner and overnight in camp.
- Day 17 : Badrinath(3133 m):
Morning after breakfast start 16 kms trek to Badrinath, situated on the
bank of Alaknanda, standing like twin sentinels over the valley are the
Nar and Naryana peaks, and in the distance soars the resplendent Neelkanth
peak. A 7 hrs walk brings you to Mana Village, the last village before
the border, where you break for lunch. Later a 2 kms walk brings us to
town of Badrinath. On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon visit the temple
of Badrinath. Return to hotel for Dinner & Overnight.
- Day 18 : Rishikesh(335 m):
On day 13 of Kalindikhal Trek, drive down 298 kms (7/8 hrs) to reach Rishikesh
late afternoon. Lunch enroute in local restrauant. Later on arrival check
into hotel. Rishikesh Situated on the right bank of river Ganga and surrounded
on three sides by Himalayan ranges, known from medieval time as celestial
abode, is a great pilgrimage centre of India, It has been the abode of
saints and sages from where they sojourn before undertaking the arduous
pilgrimage that lay ahead on the distant Himalayan peaks.This gateway
to the kingdom of Gods and pilgrimage to Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri
and Yamunotri is culstered with Ashram, Tourist Rest House and Dharamsalas.
The Yoga centres of Rishikesh have enchanced the significance of the place,
home and world wide tourist from all over the world visit this place to
have lessons in Yoga and Meditation
- Day 19 : (Delhi):
Morning after breakfast, proceed for half a day city tour, visiting the
Ashrams, Laxman Jhoola (ancient rope bridge), temples, before returning
to hotel for lunch. After lunch time free till departure transfer to Haridwar
Railway Station to connect superfast experess train for Delhi. Later on
arrival at 2210 hrs transfer to International airport to connect flight
for onward destination.

Day 2 : Joshimath-Gobindghat-Ghangaria(3048m): After breakfast drive
for 1-2 hour to starting point of Valley Of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib the
Gobindghat, from this place trekking for 6-7 hours passing through the Himalayan
villages and high altitude floral forest for coniferous, oak and rhododendron.
Trek in the beginning is steeper until Pulana village and then gradual to
Bridge over Puspavati River then 2 km steeply to Ghangahria. Overnight stay
in Tents/guest house.

Day 3 : Ghangaria-Valley of Flowers(3500-3900m): After breakfast
with packed lunch full day exploration to Valley of Flowers. Valley of Flowers
was discovered by famous mountaineers Frank S. Smith in 1931. In this valley
there are bloom during the monsoon time(July and August) approximately 300

Day 4 : Ghangharia-Hemkunt Sahib(4329m): After breakfast with packed
lunch trekking for 6 km steeply up climb to Hemkunt Sahib the glacial lake
near to Sikh religion Shrine. The advantage to trekking and visit this area
specially for to see plenty Himalayan Lotus and other Hiamalyan species
of Flowers in this surroundings. Back to Ghangahria for night stay. Total
trekking for 5-6 hours both way.

Day 5 : Ghangaria-Gobindghat-Badrinath(3133m): After breakfast with
packed lunch trekking down for -5 hours and then drive for 2 hours to Badrinath
the temple of Lord Vishnu. Badrinath, situated on the bank of Alaknanda,
standing like twin sentinels over the valley are the Nar and Naryana peaks,
and in the distance soars the resplendent Neelkanth peak. A 7 hrs walk brings
you to Mana Village, the last village before the border, where you break
for lunch. Later a 2 kms walk brings us to town of Badrinath. On arrival
check into hotel. Afternoon visit the temple of Badrinath. Return to hotel
for Dinner & Overnight.

Day 6 : Badrinath-Joshimath: After exploration an visit to different
sites in the surrounding of Badrinath like last Indo- Mongolian village
and visiting to resource of Saraswati river, Natural bridge over Saraswati
river, Ved Vyas and Ganesh cave. After lunch drive for Joshimath(3-4 hours).
Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 7 : Joshimath-Rishikesh: After breakfast drive for 250 km,Lunch
enroute in local restrauant. Later on arrival check into hotel. Rishikesh

where they sojourn before undertaking the arduous pilgrimage that lay ahead
on the distant Himalayan peaks.This gateway to the kingdom of Gods and pilgrimage
to Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri is culstered with Ashram,
Tourist Rest House and Dharamsalas. The Yoga centres of Rishikesh have enchanced
the significance of the place.
